Can anyone comment on their experience of the Android App when using offline mode ?

I am particularly interested in the behaviour of the Sync, Remove outdated items (both on by default) and Save Offline.

Is there a particular order in which these occur ?  For example if all these settings are ON and a user has an offline saved draft.  What happens when he/she next logs in ?

I would assume, download new / updated versions of forms offline, sync drafts, then remove outdated items, thus any offline save drafts against an old version of a form would appear as an online draft in the new version ?

The reason I am asking is that we are getting conflicting reports from field users and wondering if the order of events differs in some cases.
