Windows 10 with LF 8.1 OCR issue

A customer got a new laptop using windows 10 and they are currently running on Laserfiche Client version 8.1.2.681. 

When she tries to OCR a non OCR page it does nothing.

When she tries to OCR a document that already has been OCR it clears the generated OCR.

We tested by having her log on another machine (Windows 2007) with LF Client version 9.1 and she is able to OCR the document.

Any thoughts?

That could be the whole issue right there - I have never seem them work well together.

Keep in mind that Laserfiche 8.1.2 came out in 2010. Windows 10 was first released in 2015. That'd be some pretty impressive forward compatibility.
