I am using Quick Fields to scan but for some reason the ICP program starts the scanning and sends it to quickfeilds how can I stop
What is ICP? Are you using TWAIN as your scan engine in Quick Fields?
Image Capture Plus it's the application that comes with the Panasonic scanners. We are not sure what happened. in the session the scanner and the scanner source is selected. We were trying out a couple different scan sources and then all of a sudden it's seems to be using the ICP and when selecting to send the documents it imports them into our QF session and from there we can send to our repository. We do not want to have to scan that way, have you ever heard of this before?
Normally we use scan connect but like I said we were trying a couple different options to see if we could get the color to drop from 24 bit to 8 bit
It's probably best if you have your reseller open a case with Tech Support, but it sounds like you're using TWAIN instead of ScanConnect now. When using TWAIN, you get an option to use the default scanner software, so that might be why you're seeing ICP. This option can be changed under Scanner Settings.
