Question

Exporting Folders

asked on May 1, 2018

What is the best way to export folders to a windows server?  I am wanting to run a workflow that will update folders that I upload to our website we share with our reps.  Example: Quotes/2018/18-001 (this would be where quote number 1 of the year 2018 is stored.  I want to be able to export all folders for 2018 to our server that we share with our reps.

I was able to utilize the download content tool.  I don't know how I missed it before.  Thank you

Would downloading a briefcase meet your needs?

No, because it leaves them in a Laserfiche file and not an electronic file.

What about using WebDAV to "share" the required laserfiche folder as a network drive (in Windows)?

This would mean that the network drive would always have the latest Laserfiche files. However, there is security to consider too.

The security would be a concern.
