Public Portal Cloud. Can you log in with accounts other than the Public Portal User?

Good Morning,

In reviewing the configuration it seems that the LF Cloud Public Portal currently only supports logging into  it via the Public Portal user. Please let me know if this is correct.

 

If this is the case, are there any plans to add functionality to where we can add users into the cloud system that can log in via the Public Portal only, similar to how it works in the Avante and Rio systems?

That is correct, all users are automatically logged in as the public portal user.

We don't have any immediate plans to change that.  Would the benefit for other users be the simpler UI, or is it something else?

Thank you for the reply Brian. The customer would like to be able to track multiple users so that they can track what documents they view. At the moment with a LF could this does not look like this would be an option.  These users do not need full rights to the repository and are field workers that only access documents for viewing purposes only.
