Forms date fields show current_date as 4/21. Today is 4/23.

We have a date field on one of our forms that has current_date as the default value.

We noticed this morning that it is showing the wrong date. Today is 4/23 but the field shows 4/21 when the form is opened.

We created a new form to test but haven't been able to reproduce it. What is strange is that, as far as we can tell, it only happens on two of the existing forms. The others have the current_date display correctly when form is opened.

There is no JavaScript that affects that field.

Any ideas?

Hi Ege,

Did the issue persist after refreshing page?

On which page did you get this issue? Have you tried preview page? If the issue existed on new submission but not on preview, then it might be cache issue although it was not supposed to happen.

Refreshing the page doesn't fix it.

The issue occurs on both the actual form and the preview page.

Also, further development: when the forms are opened on the server machine, they show the correct date. On other machines though (i.e. client workstation browsers) they show 4/21 (as of today).

Do we need a support ticket?

The issue that date field current_date/current_datetime always use the cached value has been fixed at Forms 10.3.1 Update 1, and you can download patch file at https://support.laserfiche.com/kb/1013963/list-of-changes-for-laserfiche-forms-10-3-1-update-1
