Can LF create an entry by monitoring an email inbox address?

I have a problem which is related to creation of entries every time users receive an email.

My wish is that every time an email is sent to a email, an entry is created on LF and workflow assumes and go on..

 

Can anyone help with this solution?

You can do this with Import Agent 10.3, which can monitor an email inbox and import those emails based on conditions.

Sorry, but this kind of solution only would work with version 10, right? 

I still have version 8.2

 

In version 10, using this kind of module, would it be necessary to have office on-premises installed and a laserfiche service running on the machine monitoring, right?

 

This could be possible if I wanted to work only with web-based apps?
