Is there a way to restrict permissions from a Read-Only user from viewing Property items such as Creation Date and Modified date?
Question
Question
Disable for specific users viewing Date Modified
Answer
This information is visible to anyone with browse rights on an entry. Out of curiosity, why do you want to hide creation/modification timestamps from users?

The ability to view some properties is controlled with the "Extended Properties" feature right through the Admin console, but I'm not sure exactly which ones.
I have the user's Features and privileges completely removed:
And Their Permissions in Client are set to the lowest:
What the Account still is able to see:
The hope was to see if the Date Created and Last modified could be hidden for an account with such limited access already.
You might not be able to hide that information, but also check to make sure the Everyone settings don’t have any rights that might be affecting your results.
Yes I remove the bypass browse from Everyone first thing in the Admin Console when I install it. That is not affecting anything.
I believe bypass browse would only affect entry visibility, not access rights. I think those fields cannot be hidden, I just wanted to make sure Everyone did not have rights to view Extended Properties, but I really don’t think that applies anyway.
No worries. But yes the Everyone account have no rights or privileges. Also it is not added in the Repository at all so I know there nothing there from the Everyone account controlling the Client.
Do you mean the affected account is not added in the repository? Any account that has the ability to access the repository will be affected by the default Everyone group.
Touche. It has no control and all Rights and Privileges removed. It isn't affecting what I am wanting.
Okay, sounds like it is still set to default. I just wanted to make sure we covered all our bases before saying there's no way to hide that data from a user.

The Company makes modifications to reports after they are sent out to a customer. They do not want the customer to know there was a modification to the file. Customers will have access to read the document and will be able to see date modified.
Best work around for me will be the copy within the folder the customer sees is the one not being modified.
I just wanted to be 100% sure that the date modified was able to be disabled or not from view. Thanks!
