Hello I am on forms 10.3.1 and am trying to configure the workflow connection. When I run the test it returns Found in red.

You have the wrong server name. It should be "localhost" only, though the fully qualified domain name of the machine would be best.

Only aspect is the fully qualified name does not work but the localhost does.
That sounds like a domain configuration issue if the machine can't resolve its own name.
Yes this is a common issue I face even with authenticating applications.
We use an internal domain for example salesdemo.net and externally ricohcloudecm.ca but authenticate with salesdemo.net. This also leads to a bunch of issues with the licensing validation via LFDS and requires manual changes to the web.config on applications such as Web Access in order to work.
