I have no paper size choices and the Duplex paper source option has disappeared.

Usually on the paper size there is Legal and Letter options.  Right now mine is blank.  What happened to the options?  Also there was a Duplex option in the Paper Source and it has disappeared too.

What version of the client/scanning are you using?  What scan engine are you using?

You might check if you are in Basic or Standard scanning mode.    Basic mode will hide those options.

That's not quite right. While Basic mode does simplify the user interface and options, the scanner options are the same an in Standard mode.
