New WebLink Version and PDF Created by Workflow

Good Morning,

 

I've recently upgraded our WebLink system and I'm having difficulties viewing PDFs generated by workflow. Was working perfectly prior to the upgrade and now it is not. When I click on the workflow generated PDF, all I get is a blank screen. Anyone else have this issue? TIFFs are still working well.

What version of Workflow were these PDFs created with? It sounds like you're running into the issue described here.

Oh, I apologize. It's a post in a group you don't have access to.

Can you look at the document in Laserfiche through the desktop or web clients and check its properties? What is the "MIME type" property set to?

Hi Miruna,

Appears that the issue is associated with 'Generate Pages'. When no pages have been generated, the PDF loads fine. When pages have been generated, the PDF does not load. Need it to be able to load the PDF at all times and then also load TIFs when required.

The WebLink team was able to reproduce the issue. We are currently investigating into the issue. Please speak with your reseller to open a support case with the bug 81075. This is so that once this issue is addressed, you will be notified of the fix.

Is there an update on this? We need to make a judgement as to whether or not we need to roll back to the previous version ASAP.

We are looking into resolving this issue, and will be releasing an Update for WebLink by the end of this month.
