10.3 Forms Reports

asked on March 27, 2018

So recently upgraded from 10.1 to 10.3 and forms has some differences. I've created a few reports in forms but Im still lacking in knowledge of how to do what I want to do.

One simple task is I want to be able to show types of employee performance reviews by department (see attached mock up). It seems like I can show number of performance reviews by department or number of types of performance reviews but nothing that displays in a graphic.

I can get close by using either Summary or Table reports but these are numerical formats & in presenting these to management, they like pictures and charts!

Any idea how I can trained up on how to do this?

Thanks

Hi Mary,

It depends on how your data are collected and how your variables are organized.

But still, current Forms report does not support group by two different attributes. You could go no further than a single column chart like this:

Thank you for your response, Rui. That's what I was afraid of.

I can get it to do what I want as a Table report since that allows for 2 attributes. Would you happen to know if that will be a future enhancement with the on going development of forms?

Thank you again for your response which saved me a ton of testing time.
