Ability to create documents using predefined templates

Hello,

 

Any idea if we can create predefined templates on Laserfiche. For instance, a standard letter template which can be reused.

Hello Vimal,

One way you could do this is to host a copy of the standardized document in the repository in an area your users have access to. Whenever they need to use the template, they could create a copy in their working folder and make edits to the copy.

Hello Vimal,

This can be done using the Update Word Document Workflow activity. After creating a template document with Mail Merge fields in Word, this activity can be used to map values to the fields in the document. Depending on your process, these values can be pulled from an entry in the repository, a submitted form, etc.

Thank you Adam. What if I would like to have just a template without WF and it's ok with me to fill in the data manually. My objective for this scenario will be to ensure that a standard template e.g. letter is used across the organisation.
