Feature Request: Ability to change default attachement type in outlook add in from copy to link.

When using the "attach laserfiche document" feature in the outlook add-on, the default option for attachment is a copy. We'd like to change the default to link. If this is possible, it doesn't seem to be covered in any of the help files. Thanks!

In client, go to Tools>Options>Download>Email and you can change the default behaviour to 'Link'

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, that only controls emails being generated from laserfiche. I am particularly requesting that the same option be available in the outlook add-in.

Hello, I was hoping to get some additional feedback on whether this would be included in future updates as a feature request. As we have grown to use the outlook integration more, making users select links every time is wasteful. Particularly as the need for monitoring document changes throughout its lifecycle, using document links is crucial to capturing all change history. We should be able to select a default so that we aren't making a change, literally, every time we want to attach a link. Thanks in advance.

Your request to configure the default option when attaching a file through Outlook Add-in is added to our backlog. Hopefully, this feature will be included in next coming release.

We upgraded to 10.4.2 and it seems to keep the choice made in the option panel. I don't recall seeing this specifically mentioned in the notes ,but it is now operating as intended. Good luck!
