Receiving 9013 Error Using Scan Action in Connector

asked on March 14, 2018

I have configured a profile in Connector using the Scan action. We tested it with one user and everything worked correctly, meaning that it opened the scanning interface and passed the token information into the scanning interface.

We tested with a second user and after you click on the Connector icon in the application, it gives a 9013 Error. This is before it ever launches the scanning interface.

To troubleshoot we have opened the Laserfiche client and made sure that the user has permissions to scan into the configured folder in the Connector profile and actually scanned into it without any problems. Not sure what else to test. Using Connector 10.3.

Hi Blake,

Which type of the scanning action? "Scan documents or pages into the Laserfiche Windows client" or "Scan documents or pages into the Laserfiche web client"?

Per 9013 (permission access denied) error, do you try everything the same in the Laserfiche Client to the profile in the Connector, including template and fields? What about the detail error when error dialog prompts?

If the issue still occurs,  it would be better to open a support case.

Thanks,

Qinmei

Yes, everything was the same in the client as in the profile for Connector. There is no button for Details when the error is displayed. There is also no errors included in the Event Viewer on the machine.

All right. There are some different security settings between user 1 and user 2.

Could you please try to scan to a different folder and volume, not assign any template and fields?

Thanks,

Qinmei
