Default Access Rights to Business Process in Forms

asked on March 12, 2018

Hi, is there a way to automatically give default access rights to certain business process in Forms? We have a customer who is using Laserfiche Avante with 500 Forms Authenticated Participants connected to LDAP, and the trouble we are having is adding all 500 participants manually to each business process, which is time consuming, prone to mistake and cumbersome in terms of maintenance, since access rights cannot be given through groups.

Also is there some way we can output a report on the list of users given access rights to a business process by running a query against the database? The reason I ask is because we would like to use the report to do a reconciliation against the user list to make sure we haven't missed out any users, as the customer has reported on several instances where a users cannot see a certain business process since they have not been given permission by mistake. Thanks.

1. There is no such function to set default access rights; but for participants from LDAP, if they belong to a certain group in LDAP you can add the group to access rights page and members of the group could inherit rights from the group.

2. The data for user access rights are saved in table [cf_users_in_role]. You can do the query on that table.
