My client is seeing an issue when filling out metadata where the client keeps automatically reverting the view back to the top of the metadata scroll bar.

He has captured the attached video of the issue that is slowing down their processing time.

Is this normal behavior?

I can't reproduce this on the 10.3 client, I think this is a bug that has been fixed (bug#29572).

Hi Jason,

Upon further investigation, this is actually bug 81961 and we have custom patches for 10.2.1 and soon 10.3.1 Windows clients.

For now, please create a support case and reference this thread and bug ID.

Could you please direct me to the custom patches for 10.2.1. I have several clients with the issue. I have searched all over the support site and found no patches that seem relevant.

Nathan, a support case (208562) has been opened on your behalf. You can reach out to your Laserfiche reseller and ask them to provide you with the hotfix from that case.

Hello Alex,

I do not have a customer with this bug in 10.3.1, but would like to know if a patch has been released for this, that I could have as a reference.

Hi Jeff,

This is fixed in https://support.laserfiche.com/kb/1013996/list-of-changes-for-laserfiche-10-3-1-update-2

When adding a new group to a multi-value field group on a document that contains dynamic fields, the cursor no longer jumps back to the first group. (81961)
