In QF admin console when I try to give myself admin permission, so I can add more users and edit their permissions, I get message above. I don't see this error code on a question on this site.

You'll need someone who already has Quick Fields Server admin privileges to grant you admin privileges. See here for more information about Quick Fields Server security.
