How do I attach a Laserfiche document as an "attachment" from another program

My apologies for being such a noob.

Currently , we are exporting LF docs to a temporary holding folder, then attaching them from there. I am hoping to find a more direct line from scanning to end program. If a program contains an attachment icon, with a 'browse' pop up to help navigate and attach a file - can i grab it directly from a Laserfiche scan -- and how?

Marilyn,

A couple of questions;

  • It sounds like you are scanning documents into LF but the final resting place for the document is as an attachment in another application, is that accurate?
  • Is there a need to scan the document into LF versus just scanning them directly into the temporary holding folder?
  • What is the name of the 'end program' that you are using to store the documents as attachments?
