I have a team of 70 investigators, with varying levels of experience, who have really taken to using their mobile app's quite heavily.  They do have the ability to fix any accidental deletions when the come into the office, but i think the whole, "Oops I deleted the wrong thing!" is hard to have floating in your head till the next day.
