Anyways to clear workflow history

I tried setting Reporting instance lifetime and Search instance lifetime to 1 day and waiting overnight. That does not seem to clear history. Is there any way to clear the history of workflows that are completed or terminated?

Look under Server Configuration > Server Timers and check the settings/values for "Database Maintenance Timer"

This section will tell you when it is scheduled to run, when it last ran, and the last run result.

It may not have run yet, or it may have encountered a timeout error if your database was already exceptionally large, but this information will help narrow it down.
