Are we able in Laserfiche to detect the content in the electronic files such as Excel

When documents are imported into Laserfiche, they should have their extension and mime type recorded.

I don't really understand what you are asking. Is this about searching the content of electronic documents? If not, what is the problem you are trying to solve?

I am asking if i Laserfiche can search an excel sheet content while importing it into the repository.

If the appropriate ifilters are installed, then Laserfiche can extract and index the content of your electronic documents. See this page in the documentation for more info.
