Feature Request: Saving outlook email to laserfiche during send process

I'm looking for the ability to save an email to Laserfiche during the send process. This creates a better workflow than going back through sent items. Ideally the Laserfiche plugin would work like this.
1. Prompt the user when sending an email to either "file and send" or just send email without filing. This could be automatically every time or perhaps a ribbon bar option within the composing message window.
2. When a "file and send" option is selected the sender can then save and profile the email via a the plugin when the "import to laserfiche" window appears. (attachment)

3. After hitting ok, the email is saved to Laserfiche and sent.

Hi Alan,

Are you familiar with the new email archiving functionality that was added to Import Agent 10.3? This allows organizations to automatically archive all emails matching certain rules into the Laserfiche repository. Would that address what you are looking for here?

Hi Justin,

Thanks for the response, I am not sure if Alan is familiar with Email Archiving functionality with Import Agent 10.3 but I am. It is a great option to save everything that is sent / received by using rules created by an administrator.

To add to Alan's query / Feature Request, I too would love to have that option available within Laserfiche. Giving the user the option to select what they need to save and when instead of having all emails saved.

The Archiver is an awesome product, but for a client that need to only save what they require and have the option to auto save, this would be a great option.

As Alan mentions, a Task Pane to advise the user if they want the file saved into a location that we as engineers can pick the email from and based on metadata filled, route it accordingly?

Justin, thanks for the response. I'm aware of that feature. It doesn't address our particular needs, as we don't need to save every email, just client emails in our case.

Ziad, that is what I'm looking for in a feature request. I think we are wanting the same thing.

Alright, thanks for the additional information. We'll add it to our backlog, although I can't currently make any promises about when we'd be able to include it.

Does backlog mean it will happen eventually or it will be considered? I know this should be fairly easy to accomplish given Laserfiche already has plugin functionality.
