Is this possible?

We have one LF Server with two repositories.  The repository databases have their own MS SQL server.  We are looking into moving one of the two repository databases to a new MS SQL server.

My question is:  Is this a supported configuration?  We would have:

One LF application server, two repositories, two repository database servers.

We are currently on version 8.3.2 but will upgrade to current version in the next year or so.

Yes that's supported.

Yes, you will just need to detach the repository, and detach the sql database, move it to the second database server, reatach the database to the second server

 

and register back the repository to the laserfiche server and it should asck you whre is the repository and wich database server is the database to use.

but before all taht make sure to do backups
