We have set WebLink Home Screen and Basic Search Form to use the grid view (actually, we've customized everything to show grid view). Works great, however, we lose the ability to see metadata when opening PDFs. When we are browsing or searching in WebLink and click on a PDF, we get to see the PDF's metadata because we've set the option in My WebLink to open PDF files using the Laserfiche WebLink Document Viewer.

So why doesn't the WebLink Home Screen and Basic Search Form use that functionality?

We are beginning to use relationships heavily and require the ability to see metadata no matter which search functionality is used by the user.

We'd like our cake (grid view everywhere) and eat it too (the use of Laserfiche Document Viewer everywhere).
