Good morning,

What would be the best way to detect if a business process was started by Workflow or if it was started manually?

We have a business process that we want to route to different gateways, depending on what started the process. First thing that comes to my mind is to set a variable from Workflow and send it back to the form or something.

Any ideas or suggestions?

I'd check if the initiator token equals the name of your workflow service account.

We are going to go with setting a variable back to the form as a flag. Thanks for sharing your method.
