workflow not sending signal back to forms

I have a some forms communicate back and form with workflow. Some instances in forms are to start only when workflow completes. I don't see any error in the wokflow, the workflow is finishing the process but the forms is not moving the tasks after the workflow is completed.

Forms stage is in progress as it is waiting for workflow to complete. I am on LF version 10.3.

All these were working before

Can someone help me with this please?

Any updates on this from Laserfiche? I'm running into a similar situation where

A Form is submitted
Forms passes variable information to Workflow and waits for variables to be set by WF
Workflow completes but Forms is still "In Progress" on the WF step

Also receiving the same issue. Form is effectively stuck and client is missing jobs. Any updates?

Are there any instances listed under Failed Instance Completion in the Workflow Admin Console?

Hi Miruna,

Thanks for the follow up, no everything in administration console shows completed. We went ahead and bounced the servers overnight and whatever glitch occurred seems to be resolved. We're reviewing logs now to hopefully isolate the cause.

The next critical component is how to somehow re-alert the forms server of the completed workflows so they'll start to move again.

Any thoughts on how to manually reconnect the processes for these orphaned forms?

Tech Supp can provide a script to shake those tasks loose in Forms. I've added a task to the Forms backlog to add more tracing around those calls. If Workflow does not list the instances under Failed Instance Completion, then it successfully notified Forms. There was a bug in Forms where if multiple callbacks happened at the same time, the signal would be lost.

We received a script but the issue began occurring again a couple days later. I am working with the client to identify root cause. There are no errors in any logs pertinent to this issue. Forms simply isn't getting the message when the workflow completes even though it just finished a successful API call to push a variable into the same form process.

Any updates, not on how to clear them, but what causes workflow not to be able to communicate with forms? The error we get "Unable to communicate with the server" is not specific enough for troubleshooting without a server name and port.
