Laserfiche Scanning 10.2.1.937

Given a template with two dynamic fields, where one field is the parent of the other field.  When a user scans, then enters metadata, then splits the document, the original document and the resulting document metadata is blank on the child field until the user clicks the parent field and re-selects the parent on both documents.

However, if you enter metadata first, then scan, then split the document, the bug does not manifest.  Scanning in this version seems fragile.  Other than instructing my users to do their work in a different order, is there a solution to this issue?
