Workflow adding an extra line in to an email

I have a simple email being sent when someone denies a document. For what ever reason, WF adds a <br> to it in the middle of a word. This is what the email looks like;

I know I can change the WF activity to send as plain text but I'm just wondering why WF would do this. Plus to change the activity to send as plain text, I have to do it to all the activity's. I didn't find a way to make that default. Anyone else seen this before? Thanks.

Does it occur at the same place in each email message? If so, maybe there's a hidden character that's causing it. Try re-entering the text of the email.
