Single Result it Weblink Search Opens Pages - Can it Open Electronic Document Instead?

This becomes an issue if the document is a .docx or something where there are no pages.

Hi Robyn,

If you are looking to open an electronic document using WebLink, I may have something that helps. To do this, you can construct its URL accordingly:

http://hostname/WebLink/DocView.aspx?dbid=x&id=y&openfile=true

The above was obtained from this Laserfiche Help File. So, for example, if you have a Workflow constructing this search, you can check to see if the document has pages, and send a link to the electronic file if it does not.

We have ours set up like http://hostname/WebLink/ElectronicFile.aspx?dbid=x&docid=y
