Question

How do I delete part of a condition?

asked on January 17, 2018

I have a gateway in my business process.  It is not working the way I thought it would.  Can anyone tell me how to delete just part of the conditional statements?  Every time I try to click into the box the cursor disappears and I can't backspace to delete part of it.  I can't get in and retype part of it manually either.  It was working until I tried to add the () and the OR trying to say that a particular field is null.

Also can't delete the text to start over.  Have to delete the arrow and redraw it.

Forms Version 10.2.1.246

Thanks.

Hi Jennifer,

I don't think it is possible to neatly delete part of the condition, but you can quickly double-click in the text box and click "Delete" on the keyboard to delete portions of the text until it's all gone. Definitely suboptimal, but that's the only way I've been able to do it. You'll still have to completely re-enter the logic using the UI. frown

Thanks.  I finally just deleted and started over.  Even when I double clicked in the text, I had less than a fraction of a second to hit delete.
