We're looking into it, but we don't have an ETA yet.

Currently, this feature is complicated by the fact that PDF page generation can be very processing-intensive and thus could have serious performance implications if run directly on the Workflow server. However, we are actively exploring other ways to provide this functionality from Workflow, since, as you said, it is a commonly-requested feature.
