Can Laserfiche support calculations within fields?

The current process is pasting a copy of an Excel spreadsheet on top of a TIFF document using MS MODI. The user is looking for a replacement to this process and wondering if this is an option in Laserfiche.

The solution they are looking for is Laserfiche importing a PDF, then they would enter information in a few fields, and Laserfiche would calculate the data. The calculations would be immediate and persistent in the fields.

Hi Barry

Laserfiche isn't going to perform calculations in a PDF on the fly in the repository, it would require a workflow for the static PDF format where it could read the fields, perform the calculations and populate the results back into the PDF. There may be a better way such as using Laserfiche Forms to build the document such as above that the customer would enter the data into as Forms can complete Calculations on the Fly, then they can submit the completed form which will become a new document in the repository, or used to populate a PDF, kick off a workflow, etc
