Question

Corrupted Document

asked on January 10, 2018

Hi All,

I've got a document in Laserfiche which was a word document, it's completely screwed and corrupted to the point that I cannot open it, move it or delete it or even view the properties of the doc without LF crashing.

I would like to manually delete this document from Laserfiche from the back end. I'm assuming I can just delete the row in the TOC table with the docs entry ID? Are there any other knock on effects of doing that?

Cheers!

If it is causing a crash, could you please open a support case and provide a crash dump (and/or the relevant database row) so that we can investigate further. Thanks.

Hi Ryan,

The customer is a Luxembourg customer, so providing anything becomes a huge problem.

This is the first time we've ever seen this issue, if it re-occurs I will dig a bit deeper and get approval to forward logs etc.

Cheers!
