Hello,

Is there a way to save my preferences when taking photos of receipts? Say I only want my photos taken in B&W and I want High compression by default.

 

Also, our workflow renames our receipts after the picture has been taken.  In the latest mobile app update, the Document Rename pops up automatically which is another step that has to be taken before saving. Not really a question here, but I suppose it comes back to a feature request: ability to turn that off.

 

If not, can this be feature requests for the mobile app in the future?

Hi, Corey,

These are all valuable requests! And I see how these can make your life easier.

We have noted to have a default image processing for all documents coming in.

One follow-up question with your request is, after the receipts are saved, do you want to see it be BW right away? Or you don't need to view it at all, it's just for minimizing storage space?

I'm asking because, in the second scenario, we might have the option to have the images being processed on the server which reduces the processing time on the phone if there're a lot of receipts being captured.

 

As for rename, yes, we'll provide a way to make it not required for your case here.

1. The goal is ultimately to minimize storage space, B&W I figured would help make it even more compact. I do not need to see the receipt right away. So either scenario would be great. We are developing a workflow for this in the meantime, but I'm excited to see this in action!

Hey Julia,

Curious if this is making it into any future releases of mobile? We currently have a customer or two requesting an option to specify B&W as the default image capture type in mobile.
