Default Scanner Settings (Actual Technical Question)

Hello - 

 

I was wondering if there are any LF endorsed resolution settings for black and white documents? Like, invoices for example? Otherwise I'm interested to know if anyone has come upon something that functions as a standard or best practice.

Hi Allan, I don't think it's feasible. You can "drag & drop" twice:

  1. From LF Repository to your desktop
  2. From your desktop  to LF Forms

It appears that you are a Government user. It's possible that AB might have something to stay about that for certain types of documents. In the US, the state governments often have statutes that specify minimums.

 

That being said, we have standardized on scanning everything at 300 DPI in black and white. 300 DPI is consistent with our local laws for retention, and it offers the best ratio of quality and storage.
