You know how in the LF ribbon to "save to Laserfiche"? Well how about an "Open from Laserfiche" button?

Well let's say I have MSOffice open already, this would mean I would have to switch screens to find the document to open. I know a few users who are also in the habit of opening the application first and then using the File>open task.
I think overall, there should be more comprehensive integration with MSOffice. For instance, if I'm in LF and I want to create a new document, the only option when I select "new document" is to create a pages file, which frankly makes no sense to me. But if I right-click on my desktop, I have copious options as to what kind of new document I want to create (e.g., word, powerpoint, etc.)

This doesn't address your original question, but I wanted to note that we are looking into adding the ability to create new office documents directly from the folder browser in addition to imaged pages (new->word, etc.).
Would that help alleviate the pain point you are encountering here?
