How to change "Click here to open this task in Forms" link to HTTPS

asked on December 18, 2017

A change was made to use the SSL connection to connect to the Laserfiche server.  When a form has been submitted, the user gets an email with a link to the form called "Click here to open this task in Forms."  The link in the form is http://server name/form/form/approval/xxxxxx.  When the user clicks the link in the email, the site can't be reached since the address should be HTTPS.  When the user changes the address to HTTPS, they can get to the form.  I have selected "Use SSL connection" in Forms Server in Laserfiche Forms config, but the link remains the same.  What settings need to be changed to get the email link sent from Forms to start with HTTPS?

Perhaps you can try changing the value of FormsHostEmailOverride in the cf_options table to include "https" at the start of the URL: https://answers.laserfiche.com/questions/123131/Public-Forms--email-link-routing-user-to-internal-Forms-not-Public-Portal#132508
