I am in the process of attempting to implement Laserfiche in my organization. However I am encountering a significant amount of resistance from our IT department with regard to leveraging quickfields and or workflows from the out. I can accept that bringing out workflows right away is too ambitious, but the further in I get, the less I see it practical to have our people deal with metadata and other issues manually when we will soon automate it. 

 

While I realize most of you are IT people, I am seeking some advice on useful strategies to persuade my IT people that I can't offer anything truly dynamic without considering other products. We have the licenses, far as I can figure out the only resistance is predicated on concerns over getting too broad too quickly.
