how to ocr a TIFF and get some values

Hi all,

 

I have somes TIFF in my Laserfiche with no value in my fields. (yeah I did a mistake).

 

Now, I have about 300 files without values and I need to populate the fields. Under Workflow designer, I saw "Programmer l'OCR" (sorry french version, I don't know what is it in english).

 

I tried to use it and get values from my TIFF but all values I get is "True" or "False".

 

How can I do to retrieve values from my TIFF using Workflow?

That workflow activity is used to schedule an OCR job using your distributed computing cluster.  

300 is a relatively small number of documents, I would OCR them from your workstation.  Highlight, right click, generate searchable text.  Then you can use workflow, retrieve document text, pattern matching, assign field values for your newly OCR documents.
