LF Support helped me fix it. The LF Server license had to be renewed. Deleted the application registration from LFDS, re-registered it, moved the license file into the Server folder, then restarted server service. Did the same for WA for good measure and restarted its app pool. It works now.

I wonder what caused it though. Should never HAVE to manually replace programdata, that is similar to manually changing the database tables.

We just got the same error after losing connection to the global licensing server.

Tried following these exact steps but no luck. Why is the 9530 error not cataloged with a description on the support site. Usually I can plug these error codes in to the search and find an article describing the error code. Is this a brand new security roll out that might be taking servers offline?

  1. renew license in LFDS
  2. update license file (lf.licx) on the server (download latest from LFDS--> Applications--> Server --> your server instance)
  3. restart LFDS
