Workflow Notification Issue

I have a workflow setup for contract expiration. It reads the expiration date in the template field and uses a date token calculator to see if the contract expires within 90 days. If it does, the contract submitter will receive an email notification letting them know. The workflow runs every morning at 3am. 

 

One of our end users keeps getting these email notifications for 3 different contracts. She has went in and removed the expiration date completely from the template field, but the email notifications continue. 

 

Is there any way that I can go in and check to see why the emails keep coming? It sounds like the workflow is still seeing the contract expiration date, even though it has been deleted  from the template completely.

I would add a Track Tokens activity at the end of your workflow and then run another one through. Then go to the instance in Workflow and there will be a tokens tab that will let you see what the values of each token is. This will allow you to compare the date values to see if they are what you were expecting.
