Is it possible to post a PDF in Workflow to a API

I see that there is Content Type Application\PDF but cannot figure out a way to select a file to put in the Content Body. Is this possible or would I need to write a script to POST a PDF to API/Web Service

Here is how to post a PDF.

What I did was used a Qfiche product called "Export Document" Tool that is imported into your workflow designer and is used like any other items in your tool box, then the API service references the location that the file was saved.
