Intermittent issue where changes within a word document are not being kept

I have encountered this issue a handful of times in the last year, both on LF10.1 and 10.2, and using Office 2010 & 2016.

We open up a word document from within Laserfiche, make changes to the document and then saved it into Laserfiche using the "Save to Laserfiche" button in word, save as a new document and save as normal.

The document saves into laserfiche with the correct name, creation and last modified date, however the document does not contain any of the changes, which are now completely lost.

Has anyone come accross this before? Any solutions?

I have a user who had this happen. When It tried to recreate the issue it worked fine. I know that this has happened multiple times and loosing work is both emotionally and financially costly. We are using 10.3 and have found that many of the saving issues seem to have been cleared up so not sure what happened.

Is there anyone still having these types of save issues? I have a user who continues to have intermittent saving problems as described above and is using Office 2016. The user is also operating in the Laserfiche Windows Client ver. 10.3.
