New Feature Request - New Field Type = Colour

On a few occasions, I had discussed this feature request with Laserfiche developers. There is really a need to design Laserfiche applications where Dynamic colour coded template or template fields should be used.

This new feature will help provide more efficient and visual analysis for users processing requests based on statuses or where timelines are critical.  Workflow could then change colour based on these status.

Here is what I would like to see:

- New field type = Colour
- A configuration interface for that field that would allow identifying a number to a colour and to a colour comment status like this
... 0 = White = "No issue"
... 1 = Yellow = "Warning"
... 2 = Red = "Immediate attention required"
... 3 = Green = "Completed"
- That new field could be added as a column in the Client
- It could be good to have the options to have that field colour to be pushed to the template colour, then bypassing the default template colour.

Would it be possible for Laserfiche to consider implementing such feature in a not so far version?

I like where you're going with this Daniel. I think whatever is done though that Forms and Laserfiche behave the same way. Currently you can set a priority in Forms for specific user tasks. It would be nice if there was a consistency across the products for a feature like this. Less of a learning curve for the end users.
