Reading variables from forms

We need to read variables from an external file so that forms take the value of those variables and use them to conclude the action, for example, variables that have url's, database names, etc., will be stored in that file and will be read from the forms.

What kind of external file are you needing to read information from?

We are using a JSON file, but we are looking for another option because we are evaluating possible solutions.

Forms is only able to read data from a database out of the box. You could keep it as a JSON file and utilize workflow to read it and use the Workflow & Forms integrations available.
