Impact of Disabling the SSL v3

Dear All,

 

We are planning to disable SSL V3 and keep only TLS security within the organization. Is there any impact on the Laserfiche Server, Web, Workflow, and Mobile App?

 

We are not communicating using SSL from Laserfiche to Client. Certificates are used for HTTPS communication. We faced issues with Mobile app communication when we disable SSL V3 in the Server a year ago. Does this issue still exists with Laserfiche Mobile Apps?

Mobile devices provide their own SSL/TLS implementation, so as far as what options are supported on a particular device you would need to check the vendor's documentation.  However, SSL v3 has long been superseded by TLS 1.0 and I doubt you could find a mobile device that doesn't support something newer.  For instance, Wikipedia suggests that every iOS device has had support for TLS 1.0 and they have already dropped support for SSL v3.
