Forms Approval in Gmail

asked on December 1, 2017

Hello,

I am trying to configure my forms with direct email approval. The Gmail account for approval has been set up and is receiving the email. Once the approver approves in email, the rule in gmail is directing the email to go to the approved label, but our process is "stuck" at that approval step and does not go to the next approver.

Is Gmail compatible with the direct forms approval?

Thanks!

I just barely got my email direct approval working yesterday.  Change the rule so that the reply from the user goes to the regular inbox and you need to have the system generated email of the notification in the approved folder (this is the folder that you tell it to monitor in the configuration).  Laserfiche will monitor and cross-reference emails in the inbox, with emails in the approval folder and if they match up, they will take the appropriate action marked in the user reply.  After you make these changes, set the polling time to 0 in the configuration, save, and then put it back to you desired interval and save again and submit a test.  Fingers crossed.

I'm glad I could help.  It drove me nuts for a good week before I figured it out.  :-)
