Import Agent - Order of Processing Options

Is there a way to change the order of processing options in Import Agent so that it Generates Pages, then runs OCR. It seems to OCR, then Generate Pages

Hi Chad,

Actually import Agent 10 generate pages, and if the page doesn't contain text, it will try to use OCR. As the text from PDF is usually is more accurate. Is it not your case?

That is exactly what we needed, we installed 10 this morning and it does convert to a tiff first, then run OCR. Thanks!

We seem to have lost this feature in version 10.3. Now if you convert from PDF to TIFF and OCR, it will never OCR even if text is not found because it does this first.

I just tested with a PDF that contains no text, opened the resulting TIFF file in the repository, clicked the manual OCR button and the text showed up.
