Question

Outlook Plug-In. Refresh Laserfiche web client and try again.

asked on November 30, 2017 Show version history

What does it mean when it says Refresh the Laserfiche Web client? We selected a repository to save to which is hosted by a server. It's not even hosted by the same server that hosts Web Client. Is it asking us to "Refresh" a server? What does that mean?

I keep getting asked what this means and I really dont know!

System.Exception: A connection to Laserfiche web client cannot be made. Refresh Laserfiche web client and try again. ---> Laserfiche.OfficePlugin.Connector.LFSOWrapper.LFException: Invalid Connection

Also the thing that doesn't make any sense is that we are not using a web client extension or anything related to Web Client, we don't even need web client installed. This is an Outlook Extension that saves to the Laserfiche repository. There is no Web Client involved.

Hi Chad,

Could you please go to registry, explore to "HKCU\Software\Laserfiche\LFOfficePlugin\Profile\IPDatabase\", delete the repository which you selected, and try restart outlook again?

It seems the repository is attached with Web Client, that is why it tries to connect Web Client.
